This sculpture stands at the crossroads of several traditions: Hindu, Buddhist, Celtic, and even more universal with the Tree of Life.
His body is adorned with leaves and buds, symbols of the life energy flowing through him.
Crouched on the ground, not only does he root himself there, but these elements also form the silhouette of a seed, an acorn, destined to become the oak, the master tree.
It is in this noble wood that this work is sculpted.
Yoga practitioners will recognize the reference to the 5 Pranas and the radiance of the crown chakra...
"I envisioned it to be blossoming, serene, and powerful" says the artist.
This sculpture invites us to recentre ourselves, in order to transcend and merge with the Great Whole.
